Stella learning to lower her head: This was a teaching video for a student showing how to use a target to teach head lowering. Stella already knew the behavior, but was a little rusty. With a novice horse, I would have taken more time to teach the behavior and add the cue.
Rosie offers head lowering after she alerts to a bag in the hedgerow. This is a default behavior that she offers after she sees something scary (when she is ready).
